Encore Havanese, located in Escondido, California (35 miles
northeast of San Diego), is dedicated to breeding the
highest quality Havanese for the home and show ring. All
Encore dogs are bred, raised and trained in a family
environment with a high level of human and canine
socialization.
The Encore kennels originated with Briards in 1995. Marilyn
Vaughn and her husband Steve Sivitz and their Briards,
were active in conformation, herding and agility. Marilyn
acquired her first Havanese in partnership with a long time
friend, Mary Lopez, Amor Havanese, in 1999. In addition to
her own dog projects, Marilyn is active in the Gold Country
Havanese Club (www.goldcountryhavanese.com)
